We are pleased to announce a new super-convenient way to contact the office – TEXTING! Texts are an easy way to reach us in a fast, HIPAA compliant way. The service will be available during office hours, when we have staff available to respond to you live and direct. You are already loving it! This feature is perfect for letting us know if you are running late, need assistance or require a call back to schedule an appointment. You can also use it to transmit emergent photos to the office, safely and HIPAA compliantly. We would however like to remind all patients that there are limitations as to what we can appropriately manage via text. We cannot treat, diagnose or refill medications remotely via text message. We also cannot ethically provide any medical advice via text – for this we require you call the office at 312-245-9965 or schedule an appointment to be seen. If your concern is non-emergent and you cannot make it to the office, we suggest you use OnlineMD, our online teledermatology feature.
